Miss two has a cold. Yum ... green snot and all! She's become very good at blowing her nose and likes to do it all herself. We've got a box of tissues especially for her on the coffee table & I've taught her to put her dirty tissues in the toilet (swine flu precaution!!).
We were visiting nanny and pa yesterday when the snot monster struck!! Nanny, not having a box of tissues offered Miss two a handkerchief to clean herself up with. Miss two looked at it dubiously and after plenty of reassurance that it was just like a tissue, blew her nose.
Five minutes later the goo returned, nanny told Miss two to use her hanky again. Miss two looked at her with disgust. "What's wrong?" Asked nanny. " 'swet" she replied, marching to the bathroom and retrieving a soggy hanky from the toilet bowl.
Needless to say, she was promptly provided with a new, clean hanky and promised that nanny would buy some tissues for next week!
